Company Picnic

Wells Fargo LOP and Adjustment areas had their "1st Annual" picnic today. We arrived early - mostly because I knew Amanda would be wiped around noon to one pm (when she normally takes her nap/quiet time.)

There were two bounce houses, some hula hoops, sacks for racing, tug of war, volleyballs, snow cones, pop corn, cotton candy, BBQ foods and quite a few people. There was access to a pool, but we didn't not let Amanda know that or have plans on doing that, mostly because I didn't want to wear a swim suit and go swimming. Amanda had a great time - a couple of snow cones, some popcorn, and lots of bouncing in the bounce house when we were able to get her to go back over there.

She hula hooped - which was me holding the hoop and telling her run around so she either stood in the middle or ran around the edge of the hoop. We got some good laughs from a couple of people and it helped wear her out that much faster. She tried tugging in the tug of war - but that only lasted a few seconds and then we were cheer leaders. She attempted jumping in the sack to only want out and to jump - so she did that. I showed her how to serve and hit a volleyball. Which we would then run to the other side to go get (that only lasted a couple of times as well.)

We completely forgot our camera so there are no pictures from this event!! Sorry!!! We finally dragged her out of there around 1:30 - she was almost a sleep in the car (and if we lived farther away would have been passed out!) She is currently having quite time on the couch.

It was a good day - I'm glad we went to the picnic, and apparently most of Keith's co-workers think we have a beautiful or cute daughter and berated Keith even more for not having photos of her at work - so several of them took photos - to prove to the others that he had a daughter. It was quite funny.

Oh. yea.. she also got her hand painted - she wasn't quite ready to let them paint her face. It definitely brought back memories of my face painting days I really wanted to pick up the brush and take over, so I'm proud of myself for not doing that!
